Founded in 2010, Rampart Scotland offers a unique approach to archaeology. Our research is built on established plans and a commitment to skill sharing, both formal and informal. We stand out as a field school that combines academic rigour with practical experience, providing a unique way to engage with archaeology. To make archaeological excavation both relaxed and enjoyable, we integrate professional guidance with actual field experiences, allowing participants to explore Scotland’s historical landscapes whilst gaining real world skills and a unique experience.
